I use photos for referrence and for this painting I had many pictures of baboons and two Cookie Monsters of my sons on either side of the easel. The budget was very small so two guys from the mailroom and myself got dressed up for the photo shoot. I'm the Ear falling over backwards wearing an Egyptian robe my parents got while visiting. There was a really cool background where the type is now.
