" Toto, I don't think we are in Kansas anymore","Follow the Yellow Brick
Road", "Follow the Yellow Brick
Road","We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz"
I watched the movie probably 15 times during this job. Several parts frame by frame.
Mural 53 was actually the next job I did after working on this one. Here in the distance you can see I put in a field of lavender. I was trying it out to see how I would do that, and what it would look like.

The Doctor whose office this is, has an amazing collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia at his home, including the actual tail of the Cowardly Lion.
The beginning of the field of poppies where Marlis and I fell asleep painting all the poppies.
This ceiling was impossible for me to light correctly for this picture, but Surrender Dorothy is in the middle of it's 40' stretch, more or less the color at the top of the picture.
Another photography nightmare, but I'm sure you get the idea.
This is the ceiling in the waiting room.
As you can see the hallway has it's own yellow brick road. Each examining room has it's own theme. For instance the Cowardly Lion's room has wall paper that is almost like his hair. The Wizard's room is all hot air balloons, and Glynda's room is all bubbles.
