| 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was the second stamp sheet that I did. Now that I knew how well the art would reproduce I decided to try something bigger. I reread the Jules Verne classic and then did the sketch. There was so much going on in this story that I felt one background element was not enough, so I tried to roll the whole story into one.
