| War of the Sun has always been my favorite cover of the series. The point of view was always from the eyes of the pilot, but in this one the angle of all the elements works so well, and the color of the sky and water, really make me feel like I am part of this dawn raid. It doesn't show here, but on the book cover one can actually see the controls of the jet on the left,and the green glowing display on the controls in the cockpit are actual photos of mine that I cut out and pasted to the painting. |
